I'm Kori and I work on AI.

My Mum is from Okinawa and my Dad is from the UK. I owe everything to my parents! I moved around a lot as a kid, but mostly grew up in Singapore till I left for the UK for university.

In highschool, I harvested silk from silkworms to distill fibroin proteins and researched how it can be used to solidy oil and prevent oil spills. In Oxford, I built early-warning AI models to predict ICU emergencies 2h before they happened.

After that, I co-founded a few startups, raised $8M+. My first startup sent a human to space via Blue Origin, the others were in AI. I also spent time as a Founder-in-Residence at Entrepreneur First.

I consider myself a part of the effective altruism community and try to work on things that matter.
